The control cabinet circuit adopts international advanced technology to ensure continuous and fault-free operation of the corona treatment machine for 24/7.
The control system uses PLC touch screen control, allowing convenient integration with the slitting machine and providing standard industrial Ethernet bus protocols for central control integration with other equipment.
The control system has various alarm functions, including fan failure, air pressure failure, short circuit, main power failure, overheating protection, emergency stop, frame closure failure, rotation failure, underload and overload. It is equipped with a separate 3-color audio/visual alarm device.
The discharge frame is aesthetically designed, with easy cleaning and maintenance of ceramic electrodes, and a well-sealed housing system to ensure ozone concentration around the equipment is no higher than 0.10 ppm.
The opening and closing of the discharge frame are controlled by electromagnetic valves, which can be adjusted to specific winding speeds for operation.

How it Corona Treatment Station Works
Power Activation: The power supply and transformer generate a high-frequency, high-voltage output to the electrode.
Corona Discharge: This voltage ionizes the air in the gap between the electrode and the substrate, creating a visible glow known as a corona discharge.
Surface Activation: The high-energy particles from the corona discharge bombard the material's surface, causing a molecular-level change.
Increased Surface Energy: This process cleans the surface, removes impurities, and increases the material's polarity, resulting in higher surface energy and wettability.
Components of Corona Treatment Station
Power Supply:
Converts standard utility power into higher-frequency, high-voltage power required for the corona discharge.

Procedure
Remove the electrode group (see instruction inside the manual)
Place the electrode group in a stable way (in order not to damage it) and clean very carefully using a high pressure power washer
Dry well
Lubricate with teflon spray, pay attention not to dirty the insulators (these would be damaged by this spray) Dry well avoiding that lubricate drip on the material
Remount the station
Check the distance between roll and electrode that has to be 1.5 – 1.6mm.
Insulators
Condensate drifting and dust deposits reduce the supports insulation and can cause short circuits. Every month clean the insulator with water and neutral soap. Remove any residual trace and dry well.
In addition, residual burnings may reduce insulation and can cause short circuits. Verify the presence of superficial burnings. In this case, remove them with emery cloth.
Nip rolls
To get a uniform fresh pressure all over the contact surface clean every 3 months by a cloth soaked with ethyl alcohol, methyl alcohol or ethyl acetate using the proper protection devices indicated in the safety instructions of these products. Do not directly pour or drip the product on the surface. Do not use solvents.
Silicone sleeve
Dust deposits could burn and cause perforation on the sleeve or on the vulcanization. In order to avoid this problem clean every 3 months by a cloth soaked with ethyl alcohol, methyl alcohol or ethyl acetate using the proper protection devices indicated in the safety instructions of these products.
Dry well (use a clean cloth in order to avoid cutting the silicone). Do not directly pour or drip the product on the surface. Do not use solvents.
